The movie has incredible action sequences, and some exceptional visual effects work. But all of this would be for naught if the story failed to deliver. And the script, penned by Whedon and Zack Penn, delivers a story that is exciting, dramatic, humorous, and everything film-goers expect from an awesome film. And when put in the hands of a top-notch cast, you have the recipe for a superhero film unlike any other!
ReplyDeleteIf the film has any drawbacks, there is but one, and it has nothing to do with the film itself. If you are unfamiliar with the comic books from which the movie is based, or have not seen the five films leading up to it, then you might be a bit lost with everything. But for those who are diehard aficionados of the Marvel universe and films, this is the payoff we all wanted, and more. For those who enjoy the superhero genre, or are just lovers of great films, then I highly recommend "The Avengers," the greatest superhero film of them all!
